Notice of the SAWS on the Abolition and Transformation of Mandatory Coal Industry Standards

Coal mine safety supervision departments and coal industry administration departments of various coal-producing provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, provincial coal mine safety supervision bureaus, China Coal Industry Association, National Coal Standardization Technical Committee, Coal Industry Special Equipment Standardization Technical Committee, Coal Industry Safety Standardization Technical Committee, relevant units:

In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the National Standardization Management Committee on the “Notice of Consolidation and Simplification of Mandatory Standards” (the comprehensive letter of the National Standards Committee No. 4 [2017] ), the following mandatory coal industry standards for the abolition and transformation of the consolidation and simplification conclusion are notified:

I. The conclusion is the mandatory standard for abolition: 33 mandatory standards (Annex 1) such as “Open-pit mine 10kV and below mobile substation” (MT 322-1993) shall be revoked from the date of issuance of this notice.

II. The conclusion is the mandatory criterion for conversion: 222 mandatory criteria for conversion, such as “Code for the Test of the Central Groove of Scraper Conveyor” (MT 102-1985) (Annex 2), are converted into recommended coal industry standards from the date of issuance of this notice.
