In The First Quarter, the National Raw Coal Output Was 810 Million Tons, Increased by 0.4% Over the Same Period of Last Year
According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on April 17, the output of raw coal in March 2019 was 298.35 million tons, an increase of 2.7% over the same period last year. From January to February, the annual growth rate decreased by 1.5%, and the growth rate turned from negative to positive; the average daily output in March was 9.62 million tons, an increase of 910,000 tons compared with January to February. Since this year, despite frequent safety and environmental inspections throughout the country, with the resumption of coal mines in major production areas and the gradual release of advanced production capacity, the increase in supply was also within expectation. From January to March 2019, China’s raw coal output reached 812.59 million tons, an increase of 0.4% over the same period last year, and the rate of increase down by 3.5 percentage points.
